VOTE EARLY!!!
- All Voter Registration Addresses or legal name updates must be received by the Pima County Recorder by Oct. 5th to be able to vote a regular midterm ballot with local AZ races.
- Early voting begins on October 7th. Please, help your friends and neighbors vote early.
- Take mail-in ballots to a Pima County Election Dept. or Pima County Recorder Drop Box to avoid mail delays. You can also drop off mail-in ballots during posted hours at any Pima County Early Voting or Emergency Voting site. Dropping off mail-in ballots prevents risking U.S. Post Office delays in mail delivery of your vote!
- At Early or Emergency Voting sites you can drop-off mail-in ballots OR VOTE IN PERSON — even if you have received an AEVL mail-in ballot
- If you take ballots to a drop box, a Pima County Election Department or other secure Pima County Recorder Drop-box, the ballot will be couriered to be processed. You can legally drop off ballots for everyone in your household (no one will be checking to see who lives in your home.)
- Postal mail delivery to the Pima County Recorder and Election Dept. will likely be delayed by the post office in Phoenix: all Tucson posted mail-in ballots must be transported to Phoenix and then sent back to Tucson for delivery to the Pima County Recorder’s Office.
- Postal delays involving Mail-in (AEVL) ballots can cause votes that might determine election outcomes not to be received in time to be counted — which is one reason it’s important to vote early!
- All ballots must be received by the Election Department before 7pm on 11/3!
